Stephens Family

My mother and father was born and raised in Georgia. My father serviced in the army and came out and married my mother. He did not want to be a farmer, and he did not like the way the south was after he left the army. So me moved to the North (New York) and started working in construction. Over a period of time he brought my mother and his children up north and they moved in to an apt. at 590 Willoughby Ave. The started at the top floor of the building and when he did better he moved down to the next floor until he moved out and brought a house.
